Amy Vinlove


Amy Vinlove is the Director of the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) School of Education and an Associate Professor of education. She has worked with the teacher preparation programs at UAF since 1999. Amy is a lifelong Alaskan with eight years of K-12 public school teaching experience and she has been a National Board Certified teacher since 2000. Her research focuses on preparing new teachers to work with diverse populations and how to learn with and from their local communities, and on the recruitment, preparation and support of Indigenous teachers for Alaska’s schools.
