Martha Gould-Lehe works for SERRC as a cultural specialist facilitating professional learning around Alaska Cultural Standards for Educators. Martha was an instrumental voice in the development and creation of Culture in the Classroom, a document describing the evaluation framework of the Alaska Cultural Standards. She is also a Senior Associate for the Center on Culturally Proficient Educational Practices and has spent the majority of her career (25 years) as a public-school educator. Martha received the BP 2000 Teacher of Excellence Award. She is one of the original founders of the Alaska Native Cultural Charter School in Anchorage.
