A “Perfect Day” for Self-Regulation and Fun


What would your learning environment be like if you infused the self-regulation strategies that students already use? How would you incorporate fun in your learning environment if you knew what made a perfect day for students? This workshop uses a guided reflection called “Perfect Day” to explore aspects of self-regulation and fun that students themselves identify from their culture, life experience, and creativity. We’ll experience the guided reflection to gain insight into self-care strategies for ourselves and then explore how we could use this strategy with students to transform our learning environments.
