The presentation will invite you to be present in the moment as personal journeys are shared. Indigenous ways of teaching and learning will be intertwined through Panigkaq’s educational journey of integrating culturally responsive teaching and learning that she learned from Dr. Chief Kangrilnguq Paul John, her late father. The illustration bridges using the qasgiq (men’s house) with the colonized, western learning system as a way to include all people. She will conclude with a holistic visual of balance to integrate wellness to one’s being.
