We’re excited to welcome you to Juneau, Alaska! Below you’ll find all the essential details to help plan your stay — from lodging and transportation to food options and things to do while you’re in town.

While we are not partnering directly with any hotels, we will be providing complimentary conference shuttles to and from the following hotels:

  • Baranof Downtown
  • Travelodge by Wyndham
  • Juneau Hotel
  • Aspen Suites Hotel

Estimated Hotel Rates: $280–$350 per night


Note: We have limited number of rooms blocked with Travelodge for a rate of $279 per night. Please contact 907-713-5903 if you wish to take advantage of this offer. (Valid until July 3rd)

There are also vacation rentals (Airbnb, Vrbo) near the venue for those seeking alternative lodging options.

Some hotels may offer airport shuttle service — please check directly with your hotel when booking.

Lodging & Accommodations


Fly into: Juneau International Airport (JNU)
The airport is located approximately 15 minutes from downtown.


  • Rideshare: Uber and Lyft are available from the airport to downtown.
  • Rental Cars: Not necessary — the conference shuttle service and walkable downtown area should meet most attendees’ needs.
  • Parking: Free parking is available at the conference venue.

Food & Dining


We’re taking care of lunch — and a bit more — so you can stay fueled and focused throughout the event.

Provided at the Conference:

  • Lunch each day of the conference (and pre-conference)
  • Coffee, tea, and light snacks available throughout the day

Nearby Dining Options

Looking to explore Juneau’s food scene? Here some of our favorite restaurants within walking distance of Centennial Hall offering a range of local and international cuisine:

  • Deckhand Dave’s – Famous for fish tacos and halibut sandwiches (food truck style)
  • Salt – Upscale Alaskan cuisine with seafood and craft cocktails
  • The Rookery Café – Cozy café with great breakfast, sandwiches, and espresso (Soha’s favorite!)
  • Hangar on the Wharf – Waterfront dining with fresh seafood and beautiful views
  • Pel’meni – Late-night dumplings spot, a local favorite for a quick bite

You’ll also find several food trucks regularly parked around the area, especially during lunch hours.

For groceries or specialty food items (especially for those with dietary restrictions), we recommend:

  • Rainbow Foods – Natural grocery with organic and gluten-free options
