Stop-motion animation is an art form that has engaged many students in our Southeast communities during Sealaska Heritage artist residencies in elementary schools. In this interactive session, teachers will experience the process, become familiar with the free app Stop Motion Studio, and playfully experiment with how stop-motion as an art form can be used strategically in a classroom to support cooperation, student creativity, and integrating curriculum themes.
