We will co-present using a Circle approach as a culturally responsive teaching strategy for the purpose of creating a positive sense of community, nurturing well-being, and honoring Indigenous values by showing respect, seeing connections, having patience, and seeking guidance. After an introductory presentation about traditional purposes of Circles, main components of Circles, and sample group agreements for participants in Circles, we will co-facilitate a Circle where all participants will actively engage in an active Circle discussion focused on these inquiries: “What does self-care look like? What is challenging about practicing self-care? What are possible solutions to those challenges?”
