Montana Qinuran Murphy is from Anchorage, Alaska, with family ties to Curyung (Dillingham, Alaska). She works at the Bristol Bay Foundation supporting Indigenous culture and language education for the Bristol Bay region. She is a passionate Yup’ik language learner and an enrolled member of the Curyung Tribal Council.
